Our films need to grow, I personally believe we need strong directors. I love the movie 'Adinas' or any movie made by Roman Fekade. She makes it so natural, flow less. You wouldn't know if they are acting or not. That's how it should be...

I think our movie industry is getting better each year. Film quality is getting better. The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry. They have tried to show the growth of the city and teach the culture of Ethiopia in general. I believe it is still a learning process. As far as these films are movies or dramas....it is hard to distinguish, however, we are way far from making a movies due to the availability of technology as well as personnel (directors). My all time favorite Ethiopian "film" is 12 months of sunshine. To me that is a real film done by very talented actor and actress. Graphic and art wise, it was done beyond expectations.
